BOO Candlesticks With Text

We found three candlesticks at our favorite Goodwill of Orange County store. Having various heights look best so you don’t need to find candlesticks that match.

Here is everything you need to make these adorable “BOO” Candlesticks:

  • 3 Candlesticks of various heights
  • 3 Small Craft Pumpkins – you may want to find these first and then bring them with you to Goodwill to make sure they fit onto the candlesticks well.
  • Black Spray Paint
  • Letter stickers
  • Optional: you can use stencils or cut out letters and decoupage them onto your pumpkins
We found our craft pumpkins at Michael’s but have also seen them at the Dollar Store. Because they are made of foam, you can use them for years to come.

Prep your spray paint area and candlesticks. These candlesticks had a lot of old wax that needed to be scraped off.

Spray paint your candlesticks. Give them as many coats as needed with 20-30 minutes dry time in between coats.
Place the letters B-O-O on your pumpkins.
When you place your pumpkins on top of the candlesticks, you can use a small piece of putty if they are not sitting on the candlestick securely.

Now stand back and admire how cute they look on your mantle or table!
