These Valentine’s Day Candy Displays Are Made from Goodwill Finds!

Express your affection by creating handmade Valentine’s Day decor for your friends and family to enjoy. These DIY Valentine’s Day candy displays are made from Terra Cotta pots and glass bowls we found at one of our favorite Goodwill of Orange County stores. See how easy it is to repurpose common Goodwill finds into decor, using just a few inexpensive embellishments.

Wouldn’t these look great displayed at your home? Fill them up with your favorite Valentine’s Day candy and group several of them together for maximum impact!

Everyone who saw these, just loved them! We enjoyed watching them break into smiles when they recognized the everyday objects we used to make these delightful Valentine’s Day candy displays.

Supplies needed:

2- Terra Cotta plant pots with a base – we found ours at Goodwill
2- Glass bowls with a flat bottom – also found at Goodwill. For sizing, these glass bowls need to sit on top of the Terra Cotta pots when they are turned upside down.
2- Wooden Balls (flat ended) found at Michael’s
Foam Hearts – very inexpensive at craft stores
Red Spray Paint or Acrylic Paint (we used spray paint)
White Acrylic Paint – just a small bottle is needed for the wooden balls
White Acrylic Paint Pen – from the craft store
Hot Glue Gun
Candy
Directions:

First paint or spray paint the pots and the wooden balls. You may need more than one coat if the plant pots are porous. We used white acrylic paint for the wooden balls.
