A bargain priced room with a designer look: that’s what you can get when you shop at Goodwill of Orange County. After shopping at Goodwill stores and doing a few DIY projects, I am ready to pull this TV Room Makeover project together. I spent $465.68 on items for my TV Room with an estimated retail value of $1071.42. That’s a savings of $605.74! Not to mention with a little elbow grease on customizing a tray , window treatments , and entertainment center this room is going to exceed the look of even the thousand dollar retail price tag.

Remember what the room looked like before: boring, blah, un-functional.
And here it is: the finished room. Dark and dramatic, this TV Room now is fit for movie night.
I repurposed a few things of my own to add to the great finds from Goodwill of Orange County.
The mix of global and mid-century modern style I wanted to get is in full effect.
I could not be more pleased with how this TV Room Makeover turned out by shopping at Goodwill stores in Orange County. Not only did I get the look I wanted, I also saved a bundle of money and contributed to a worthy cause. What more could a designer ask for?
