DIY Time: Valentine’s Day Crafts and Projects

Valentine’s Day is less than two weeks away and we all know what that means: It’s time to start decorating with red, white, pink, hearts, and chocolate.

There’s no need to empty your wallet to get your home all prepped and ready for Valentine’s Day. In fact, we have some fun and creative DIY crafts and projects that are perfect for decorating your home or showing someone you love how much you care.

Wine Cork Heart
Been wondering what to do with those leftover wine corks from the holidays? Well, now is your chance to put them to good use! All you need is a plain wooden frame (Goodwill has plenty!), several shades of pink and red paint, a paintbrush, and a hot glue gun.

DIY Sharpie Mugs
Goodwill is always brimming with a selection of plain white ceramic mugs. Check out Nicole Longstreath of the Wardrobe Code’s latest blog to figure out how fun and simple it is to make your own love-inspired DIY Sharpie mugs.

Heart Candle Holders
Give a lovely touch to some plain tea light candles. All you’ll need is clear glass candle holders or mason jars, colorful construction paper, scissors, and tape. Make cute heart cutouts, then tape the paper to the jars.
