Thrifty Thursdays with Goodwill of Orange County Vol III

thrifty-thursdays(3)Ever wonder how your friends always score big when they shop at thrift stores?

Believe it or not, there is an art to thrifting. But fear not, my friends: I’m here to show you just how easy it truly is.

This week, I hit up some of my favorite Goodwill of Orange County stores to find a new slew of goodies to share with all of you. From chic threads to DIY-ready furniture, discover the newest collection of Goodwill treasures in this week’s edition of Thrifty Thursdays.

I have a major affinity for faux leather jackets. Pair one with a cute dress and tights or some distressed denim and a plain white tee – the perfect subtle edge. This week I found two awesome jackets for less than twenty bucks each. Now that is what I call a steal!

It’s hard to come by a quality watch, but it’s even harder to come by a quality watch without forking over some major bucks. But low and behold, I found a great collection of trendy La Mer wrap watches at Goodwill Westminster and Goodwill Anaheim this week. And the best part was that they only cost $7.99 each! That’s quite the savings when the regular price is an upwards of $70.

I’m a big fan of DIY projects, especially when it comes to furniture. This week I found three great pieces that are absolutely perfect for a weekend DIY project. Stain them, paint them, stencil them – the possibilities are endless.

Did You Know when you shop at Goodwill of Orange County, 92% of every incoming dollar directly supports Goodwill’s programs and services, which provide job training and employment services to individuals facing barriers to employment?
